NextCycle Colorado is a business accelerator designed to improve the end markets for recovered commodities and organic materials in Colorado.

Funding is intended to promote the use of tire-derived aggregate (TDA) to increase the recycling of California-generated waste tires. Funding is intended for pilot programs to increase collection points for restaurants and other establishments that sell or serve beverages. All projects must be located within California and service California-located businesses.

Funding is intended to support infrastructure expenses and start-up costs related to developing a deposit-return system for glass containers. The goal of the grant program is to create a reusable glass beverage container processing stream within California to support a circular economy.

Through this grant, glass producers commit to increasing their use of glass cullet in producing new glass products. Cullet is scrap glass derived from post-filled food, drink, or beverage container glass produced or imported for sale in the state. Funding may be used for supplies, personnel, training, and other associated needs. All activity must take place within the state of California.

Funding is intended to support the implementation of projects to clean up and restore waste disposal sites. Funds may be used for purposes that include, but are not limited to, waste removal, security measures, excavation, testing, and installation of control systems.

Funding is intended to support agencies in their efforts to clean waste from properties throughout their jurisdiction. Eligible projects include solid waste cleanup project sites where cleanup is needed to protect public health and safety and/or the environment.

Grants to Missouri nonprofit organizations, government agencies, schools, businesses, and individuals for projects that manage waste in eligible regions. Some applicants are required to submit an LOI prior to a full grant application. Funding is intended for projects that help reduce solid waste, improve markets for recovered materials, and handle landfills. Applicants must serve in the counties of Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau, or Osage.

Grants to North Carolina for-profits, nonprofit organizations, local government agencies, property owners, housing authorities, IHEs, and recycling businesses for recycling projects. Funding is intended to provide educational activities as well as equipment purchases to support new projects or expand tonnage recovered from multifamily residences.

Grants to USA public, private, and nonprofit material recovery facilities for recycling projects. Funding is intended to expand the ability of facilities to process and sort eligible packaging to ensure the widest possible access to recycling in community recycling collection programs. This program focuses on equipment and process investments that establish polypropylene as an automatically MRF-accepted material. Those investments must lead to the inclusion of polypropylene as an accepted material in collection programs supplying the MRF, either as a separate grade or as part of a mixed grade of plastics. The projects must result in the successful ongoing return of polypropylene to manufacturing use.

Grants to North Carolina property owners, property management companies, local government agencies, and nonprofit and for-profit recycling businesses to expand or initiate recycling programs. Funding is intended for the purchase of equipment needed for the collection of traditional household recyclables from multifamily residences.

Funding is intended for materials that are available in English and Spanish and that communities can customize with their logo, website, and phone number.

Funding is intended to provide customized resources to residents of small communities that list information regarding how, where, and why to recycle.
