K-12 STEM Grants Build Tomorrow’s Innovators
With the new 2024/25 school year well under way, it’s the perfect time for schools, nonprofits, and other organizations to take the opportunity search for K-12 STEM grants to fund education programs. Most of us are aware of the STEM teaching philosophy but don’t give it much thought beyond the acronym itself. While STEM does stand for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, there is much more to the concept. 1. Improve PreK-12 STEM Education
Grants to nonprofit organizations, IHEs, tribal governments, and others for research and development activities to enhance PreK-12 STEM education.
2. Enhance STEM Education
Fellowships to K-12 educators to advance the professional development of K-12 STEM teachers while enhancing STEM education on a national scale.
3. Libraries with K-12 STEM Education Programs
Grants to nonprofit organizations, government agencies, schools, and libraries in eligible regions for programs to advance K-12 STEM education.
4. Innovative STEM Programming
Up to $15,000 to K-12 school districts, education associations, and career and technology centers for programs to enhance K-12 STEM education.
5. STEM Professional Development Program
Opportunity for middle and high school teachers to participate in a STEM professional development programs.
6. Activities that Enhance STEM Education
Grants to K-12 STEM educators for professional development opportunities like seminars and workshops; also materials for in-classroom and out-of-school educational settings
7. Students and Professionals in STEM Fields
Grants to nonprofit organizations and IHEs to provide professional development for undergraduate students and professionals in STEM fields.
8. Libraries to Improve STEM and Environmental Disciplines
Up to $5,000 to libraries to improve library services in a wide range of STEM-related disciplines including projects and activities related to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the environment.
9. STEM Courses at the Middle School Level
Grants for public and charter schools to implement or expand STEM courses at the middle school level. Teacher training and equipment is also offset with this funding.
10. K-12 Teachers for STEM Programs
$500 to teachers to promote K-12 STEM education. Funding is for classroom resources and materials that support lessons related to science, technology, engineering, and math.
