It’s Back to School Month, So Show Some Appreciation for Teachers!
The time has come to fill up your backpack and dive back into your studies. Every August marks Back to School Month for millions of students, parents, and staff whose day-to-day schedules will soon be getting a lot busier. During this month, it is imperative to recognize the importance of quality education, as well as show appreciation to teachers for all that they do.
“Knowledge and education are the basis for all things that can be accomplished in life. Teachers provide the power of education to today’s youth, thereby giving them the possibility for a better future. Teachers simplify the complex, and make abstract concepts accessible to students.”

Giving Teachers a Helping Hand
Teachers play a vital role in molding minds and making sure that people have the opportunity to reach their full potential. That’s why it is really important for teachers to receive the right support and resources to excel in their jobs. As the new school year approaches, there is always a lot of excitement about what’s in store. However, the expense of going back to school can put a damper on the whole process. Many teachers are dealing with heavy workloads and inadequate pay, which puts a strain on the education system. Most if not all teachers end up paying ‘out of pocket’ for (additional) school supplies to help students get the best education possible.
GrantWatch.com believes the quality of education shouldn’t be impacted by a lack of funding. With this in mind, GrantWatch has put together a list below of some of the latest grants available for teachers in honor of Back to School Month. These grants provide a variety of resources for children including school supplies, classroom equipment and technology, internet access, and funding for education programs.
