“Is There Dinner Tonight?” – Grants Combating Hunger
To feed our growing population, food production will have to double by 2050. Combating hunger is a daunting challenge considering there are currently 47 million people in the United States who go to bed hungry nightly. This includes 1 in every 5 children, according to Feeding America. For these individuals and families, the question of “what’s for dinner tonight,” holds a much deeper meaning. It’s not about choice; it’s about survival. Access to nutritious food remains uncertain, making food security a growing global issue that demands immediate action and sustainable solutions; the kind of solutions that grant funding can help support.
GrantWatch is helping to combat hunger and has provided a listing of grant opportunities addressing hunger. Additionally, GrantWatch has over 700 grants in its Nutrition and Food category of grant listings.
