GrantWatch CEO to Facilitate Workshops at Sister Cities Conference
GrantWatch.com CEO, Libby Hikind will be leading a two-part workshop at the Sister Cities International Southeastern Conference on July 20th and will be available for questions. To celebrate the upcoming conference, Florida Sister Cities International is awarding 10 GrantWatch.com subscriptions and coaching opportunities through a competitive process. What to Expect This Year:
This year, the conference will be at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida. Additionally, this year commemorates the 55th anniversary of the Jacksonville Sister Cities Association (JSCA) and marks the bicentennial celebration for the City of Jacksonville.
The theme for the conference is “Empower, Enhance, Engage: Building Bridges for the Future.” In addition, global Sister Cities representatives, international business leaders, as well as trade and government officials will be in attendance.
Visiting delegates will also have the opportunity to engage with Sister City programs throughout the Southeastern region. Moreover, the conference events aim to provide a forum to promote goodwill and harmonious exchanges between the attendees.
Taking place during July 19 -22, 2022, this four-day event will feature guest speakers, panelists, and workshops. In addition, topics will include:

Overall, this two-part workshop that Libby and Karol will facilitate, will help beginners and refresh seasoned grant writers with the foundations of preparing solid grant submissions and the value of cultivating relationships with grantmakers throughout the life of the grant cycle and beyond. At the conclusion of the workshop, at least 90% of the participants will:
1) Have gained a basic understanding of the “standard requirements” for most grant applicants.
2) Understand the value of cultivating relationships with grantmakers/donors
3) Understand how to prepare a budget and budget narrative
