Giving Tuesday 2024: Nonprofit Grants that Celebrate Giving and Kindness

Today is Giving Tuesday 2024! As many of us begin our holiday shopping and meal preparations, it is also a time to reflect on the season’s true spirit of kindness. Spending time with family and friends, attending parties, enjoying shows, going to events, traveling, and exchanging gifts often define our holidays. It’s easy to get swept up in the festivities and forget to pause and reflect on what the season truly means. For each of us, this meaning may vary, shaped by culture, religion, relationships, or financial circumstances. However, one thing most of us can agree on is that the holiday season is a time to give and show kindness.

GrantWatch wants to celebrate the generosity of nonprofits in the spirit of Giving Tuesday. Many nonprofit organizations are members of GrantWatch. They support critical causes like feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, animal welfare, education for children, higher education, workforce development, community economic development, and services for veterans and seniors. And these are just a few of the many important causes nonprofits champion!

Nonprofits are driven by founders, board members, employees, and volunteers who go above and beyond their roles to support the causes they care deeply about. Fortunately, there are organizations that provide essential support to nonprofits. Federal, state, and local governments, along with corporations and private foundations, also contribute generously. In honor of Giving Tuesday and to celebrate the generosity and kindness of these organizations, we have compiled a list of 10 carefully curated grants for nonprofits that embody the spirit of giving and kindness. And keep in mind that there are also well over 6000 other grants waiting in our category listing dedicated specifically to nonprofits.
