Engineering Grants, In-Kind Support, Scholarships, and Opportunities
1. Grants and In-Kind Support for Technological Innovations!
Up to $25,000 and in-kind services to Institutions of Higher Education for students to develop marketable technological innovations. Funding supports engineering or science-based innovations that will have a positive global impact, will be commercially marketable, and will be scalable. There will be funds, training, immersive workshops, and specialized coaching for the student innovators and entrepreneurs to move their inventions into the marketplace.
2. Active-Duty Military and Veteran Scholarships for STEM Undergraduate Degree!
$2,500 to active military personnel and veterans. Scholarships are for tuition and course expenses for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (“STEM”) degree programs. Funding is for second and third-year students pursuing an undergraduate degree. Eligible engineering majors include aerospace, computer, electrical, and electronics engineering. Eligible engineering majors also include industrial, mechanical, network, robotics, and telecommunications.
3. Opportunity for Product or Service Development Program!
There is an opportunity for startup businesses to participate in a program to test and deploy innovative prototypes or services to address climate change concerns. The funding is for early-stage companies to cultivate an initial customer base. The funder will identify technological advancements in Energy, Transportation, and Industry. Industry Technology areas addressing Climate Change will include Permafrost Management and Ice Engineering.
4. Grants to Promote Diversity and Professional Development!
Grants for underrepresented cancer researchers affiliated with nonprofit research or academic institutions to promote diversity and professional development. The funding is for early and mid-career investigators in lung cancer research to overcome obstacles, including ethnicity, socioeconomic status and/or language to address the lack of diversity in the STEM and medical fields.

Funding supports the career development of faculty members in the early stages of their careers to develop into outstanding researchers and educators in STEM fields.
8. Grants for Science, Engineering, and Medical Projects!
There are grants to medical and scientific IHEs and institutes for projects in science, engineering, and medical fields. The funding supports innovative and impactful projects focused on research studies to develop breakthrough technologies, instrumentation, or methodologies.
9. Funding for Professional Development!
Grants to nonprofits and IHEs to provide professional development for undergraduate students and professionals in STEM fields. The program is for students and professionals to become K-12 teachers in high-need school districts.
10. Grants for Cybersecurity Projects!
Grants to colleges, universities, and nonprofits for cybersecurity projects. Funding supports research and education projects addressing cybersecurity and privacy concerns. The program spans multiple interests for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE), Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS), Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences, and STEM education (EDU).
