Chick-fil-A Now Serving $5 Million Grant
The Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards program provides annual grants to celebrate and support nonprofit organizations making impacts in their communities. Created in 2015, this program intends to honor the late founder’s legacy of love, inspiration, and service.
True Inspiration Awards grants range from $30,000 to $350,000. In total, a collective $5 million is awarded annually to organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Moreover, since its inception, the program has awarded $17 million to 204 organizations in 36 states.
Nonprofits are encouraged to apply!
Recently, Chick-fil-A extended the deadline date for applicants to May 31, 2022. The corporation encourages nonprofit organizations to apply for a True Inspiration Awards grant in one of the four categories:
- 1) Caring for People: To support existing programs or projects encouraging educational initiatives.
- 2) Caring through Food: Focused on programs or projects addressing hunger and food insecurity.
- 3) Caring for Communities: Programs or projects focused on providing housing and other direct services.
- 4) Caring for our Planet: Demonstrating care for the environment and the plane through initiatives. For example, community beautification, education opportunities, community gardens, outdoor classrooms, etc.

The public will vote for the 2023 True Inspiration Awards Regional Winners via the Chick-fil-A App during Sept. 1-24, 2022. Furthermore, you can view the stories of previous winners on the Chick-fil-A website.
