Air Quality/Climate Change Grants
- Environmental Projects and Programs – Funding is intended to support programs in the areas of wildlife protection, outdoor recreation, wildlife habitat, and environmental preservation in the Northern New England region.
- Promote Racial Equity and Community Leadership – p to $50,000 to Colorado nonprofit organizations for activities that promote social equity and benefit communities in eligible locations.
- Infrastructure Capital and Planning Projects – Grants for surface transportation projects that will have a significant local or regional impact that advance the departmental priorities of safety, equity, climate and sustainability.
- Reduce Carbon Emissions – Grants and vouchers to USA and territories state governments, local government agencies, and tribal organizations to reduce carbon emissions and create jobs in the clean energy sector.
- Projects Related to Climate Change – Grants to USA IHEs, nonprofit organizations, and Tribal governments for scientific projects related to climate change.

- Studies Related to Waste Management – Grants to USA, Canada, and International research institutions for studies related to the management of solid waste.
- Concerns Within Tropical Rainforests Worldwide – Grants to USA, Canada, and International consortia to address concerns within tropical rainforests worldwide.
- Transportation Infrastructure Improvements – Grants to USA Federal land management agencies and Tribes for transportation infrastructure improvements.
- Environmental Stewardship – Grants to USA nonprofits for operational and project support. Funding supports grassroots organizations that have positive change on healthy food access, pollution reduction, and regenerative and organic farming.
- Support Campaigns and Protests – Grants to USA, Canada, and International organizations and initiatives to support campaigns and protests. Funding supports a focus areas like climate, workers’ rights, antiracism, animal rights, and feminism.
