August is National Dog Month!
It’s August, which means it’s time to celebrate all the dogs who make life a little more fun. National Dog Month takes place every August just in time to coincide with the Dog Days of Summer, which mark the hottest days of the year or the last months of summer. Whether you’re a current dog owner or dreaming of adopting your first pup, this month is a great opportunity to take the time to appreciate the gifts these furry friends have to offer.
In honor of National Dog Month, GrantWatch is sharing 10 grants below that focus on helping dogs or other animals in the United States. GrantWatch has an entire grant category for Pets and Animal Wildlife. With GrantWatch, you can also find a list of 200 foundations that have awarded grants or funding to animal programs and services in the past.
