15 Grants to Mark National Disability Independence Day

July 26th marks National Disability Independence Day, commemorating the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990. This pivotal legislation has transformed the lives of millions. It ensures protection against employment discrimination and enhancing access to goods, services, and communication for individuals with disabilities.

The ADA signifies a milestone in civil rights. Moreover, it also symbolizes ongoing progress in breaking down barriers that hindered daily life for people with disabilities.
