Grants to Louisiana nonprofit organizations in eligible areas for projects that benefit local residents. Applicants must register with the Funding Source prior to applying. Funding is intended for programs within the focus areas of human services, healthcare, education, and religion. The Foundation supports organizations that have beneficial, creative, or new projects in South Louisiana. Priority is given to projects that build on human initiative and service to mankind.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must provide a copy of the IRS letter of determination stating that the organization is tax-exempt, or a copy of the organization’s fiscal agent’s letter of determination along with a letter from the organization stating its willingness to serve as fiscal agent.
Pre-Application Information
The Board of Directors reviews proposals on a quarterly basis.
Application Deadlines: March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 27.
Notification Deadlines: May 15, August 15, November 15, and February 15.
Applications for approval as a grants administrator must be received 7 days before a deadline.
